Dog therapy in my school

Song of the day: White Winter Hymnal (listen to the Pentatonix version! It sounds so good.)

Recently, there was an event called "Dog therapy" for Year 1 students in my course. Basically, around 12 different types of dogs are brought to my school for 1 hour for students to pet and have fun with. During this 1 hour, students participating in this event would be more stress free during the exam period and would use this 1 hour to enjoy themselves before going back to study. Being a huge dog lover, i was so excited to join this activity. Not that i am really stress as you can see i am blogging instead of studying now.

On the day of the event, i dragged one of my friends and we went to volunteer to guide the owners and their dogs to the location of the event. Seeing them drive pass us with a dog popping out and looking at us, i was literally jumping and being like "OMG SO CUTE." When my friend and i headed to the event area, there were so many dogs and basically everyone was in circles playing with the dogs.

I prefer big dogs so the first dog i was attracted to is:

This adorable cutie right here. :)
This is not a golden retriever. (The owner mentioned) It is a mix and you can't really see it because the tail is the more obvious clue that it is not a normal golden retriever. He is about 2 years old and from what the other students say "He has a lot of strength." He is the cutest. Since he was not fully trained, the owner puts a leash on him and many students sort of took it for a walk. It is funny to see him run with a student behind him, being dragged along. He likes to move around so it is hard to get a picture with him.

The next dog i was attracted to but didn't go to next was:

This dog is called Audi. As the owner mentioned, Audi is sort of like the Alpha type. When one of the dogs barked, Audi wanted to bark back and "Show who is the boss". When i first saw Audi just sitting there, the first word that comes to my mind is "Magnificent". The way this dog portrays itself is just wow.

The next dog i saw that made me want to pinch its cheeks like a twitter video i saw:

This is a Japanese dog that is not commonly found in Singapore. This dog is called Mittsu meaning 3 in Japanese. The owner has 2 more dog and this is her third dog. This is the playful dog that barked and made other dogs bark back. But this dog is so cute and adorable its just SO SO SO CUTE. By the way, i am not the girl in the second picture. (Just saying haha)

Then the other dogs:

And there were like a few more dogs but i didn't manage to take a photo of them.
I enjoyed the event a lot since i was not allowed to have pet dogs, this is a wonderful chance for me to interact and play with dogs. Especially when there are dog breeds that i consider having in the future (hopefully) I really hope that such events would be held more often for other people as well.

Hope you guys enjoy the post and the cute dogs. :) Have a great day ahead.
